Hello Jane- I first discovered your brand when I was browsing on the J. Crew website. I was looking for a nicer quality cardigan for an upcoming trip. I decided to look at the State of Cotton website for more options. I ordered the Perry and was thrilled with it when it arrived. It is the perfect lightweight cardigan for summer travel. It looks polished, fits well and is better fitting than other cardigans I have from other retailers. I decided to try the Sutton sweater based on my love of the Perry. The Sutton did not disappoint. Its slightly heavier weight makes it a good choice for cooler days, and again the fit and polish of the sweater are really nice. As a woman approaching my 50th birthday, I find myself wanting clothes that are high quality, but I also feel like some other brands do not suit me or are too casual. I'm quite pleased with State of Cotton and hope the business is doing well.

I searched for 100% cotton sweaters because other materials are very itchy and uncomfortable, and found you. I really like your sweaters! They’re high quality and comfortable. I have three and will buy more. There’s a huge market for this type of high quality, well made, not itchy item. I wore merino wool for years and it just itched me even with a shirt underneath so your sweaters are a breath of fresh air. I should add that cotton sweaters do exist but the quality is not usually there. Yours are top quality.

Hi there. I learned about your sweaters about a year ago, and am in love. I learned about them through the J Crew website - but I have always ordered them directly through YOUR website. Your shipping times are A+++++.

I work as a curator of textiles who hails from Florida but lives in Vermont, and I spend A LOT of time thinking about materials. When I compare your sweaters to similar garments I have purchased from companies like J Crew, your material stands head and shoulders above ALL the competition. The drape is lovely, and they hold up / do not pill / keep their integrity of design. I also love that you send laundry bags with them so they stay safe in the gentle wash.

The cuts of your garments are also quite thoughtful. Roomy enough to be comfy for lounging; structured enough to work for work. I have a Kittery in camel, and love the bell sleeves - they separate it from just "any old" sweater. I also have a Wynn - I love turtlenecks - and the fit is *just* right.

I would love to fill my closet with your clothes, but alas - curators exist with champagne taste on a beer budget.

My Wife and I have been married for 32 years. In a word, I adore her! She is my person!! Margo has always suffered from eczema. She has very sensitive skin, and can only wear certain clothes. Wool serves as an irritant. Cashmere is not much better. For Margo, is must be cotton!
